Conor Byrne is one of Ireland's most respected marketing voices and the creator and host of That's What I Call Marketing — now in its fifth season with over 180 episodes and 1 million downloads.

Conor currently leads marketing for two of Ireland's most prominent brands — Intact Insurance, a leading B2B insurance provider, and 123.ie, one of the best known B2C insurance brands. Before his current role, Conor served as Snr Director of Marketing for EMEA at Indeed, the world's largest recruitment platform, where he led brand and marketing strategy across the region. Earlier in his career he held senior Client Services roles in agencies as well as working in the not for profit and hospitality sectors. Giving him a genuinely rounded perspective on how marketing works across very different contexts.

Conor launched That's What I Call Marketing in 2022 out of a genuine curiosity about how marketing works — and how the best marketers think. What started as a passion project has grown into one of Europe's most respected marketing podcasts, ranked No.1 in Ireland and regularly cited alongside the world's best marketing shows.

Over five seasons, Conor has interviewed more than 150 global marketing leaders including Sir John Hegarty, Mark Ritson, Peter Field, Karen Nelson-Field, Andy Nairn, Nils Leonard, Debbie Millman, James Hurman and many more — producing a unique archive of marketing knowledge now accessible through the podcast, the website and the Ask The Expert AI tool.
